The dynamics of this photo are quite interesting--the lines and shapes, the directions that your eye goes as you study the photo, the colors, and the singular attention of the boy on what he's found at his feet. You've taken what could be merely a cute subject and made it thought provoking.

Very interesting photo. I'll agree with lynette, the photo is quite dynamic. The colours strike me first. the little boy stands out because of the red. i also quite like the way the water is not defined by a very hard edge in the background.
